Cloud for Dummies: What is The Cloud? "Some experts consider that cloud computing has became mainstream. But I think the fact is the otherwise. While it’s true that cloud technologies are advancing at lighting speed, the rest of us – especially non-techie – are still struggling answering the “what is the cloud” question. Yet, most of us are using cloud-based tools, whether we realize it or not."
What is the Oort Cloud: The Oort Cloud is found to be roughly spherical, whereas its origin is said to date back to those long-period comets that have clustered the Solar System since the early days of its creation. According to the astronomer Jan Oort, this cloud of particles is actually the remains of the disk of material that basically gave birth to the Sun and planets.
"The Core Beckons" by Will Vrbasso (www.stellaraustralis.com) A High Dynamic Range (HDR) image of the core of our galaxy, the Milky Way. The core burns with furious intensity, but is shrouded in dark clouds. Embedded in the darkness, like jewels in a ring, are many pink and red nebulas. And what's this!?...close to the top edge looking like an unusual green "star" is in fact a comet - C/2013 X1 Panstarrs I think, which at the moment is roughly at 6th magnitude in brightness.
