Homemade whole wheat Bagels... I alter this recipe as I go. Some of the steps seem absolutely unnecessary, such at having the oven at 500 and then immediately bring it down to 450 and watching it to make sure it doesn't burn... I baked them at a lower temp and didn't watch them and it turned out fine.
