Antique Malachite & Ormolu Clock by Rodier of Paris dated in the movement 1846. The malachite is original to this clock & is Siberian malachite. The case has been mounted with some ormolu to give contrast but the malachite has really been left unadorned to show its own beauty. The white enamel dial is unusually signed in blue as are the chapters. The movement is unusual and has a spring signed by Louis Gabriel Brocot. 14.5" x 10" x 5.5"
