I had a wind up clock like this when I was in high school...it was a pink Timex was the only thing that could wake me up.

great vintage kitchen sink area... the clock must be a wind-up. No electric cord and too early for battery type. You can see the hole for the key to wind the clock just below the center of the face.

Antique Malachite & Ormolu Clock by Rodier of Paris dated in the movement 1846. The malachite is original to this clock & is Siberian malachite. The case has been mounted with some ormolu to give contrast but the malachite has really been left unadorned to show its own beauty. The white enamel dial is unusually signed in blue as are the chapters. The movement is unusual and has a spring signed by Louis Gabriel Brocot. 14.5" x 10" x 5.5"
