Hoyts "New Windsor" theatre, Peel Street, Windsor VIC, taken in 1984 before conversion to a video store. It closed as a picture theatre in 1964, then it was Hoyts' Victorian state office and storeroom, then an advertising agency, then a video shop, then a nightclub before a fire destroyed it. Apartments are on this site today.

The Thalia Theatre The Thalia Theatre was located at 46-48 Bowery  (between Bayard and Canal Streets, across the street from the Windsor Theatre) in Manhattan. The opera is to star M.E. Medvedieff as "Don Joze." Here we see a placard advertising George s Bizet's opera "Carmen," to be performed at the Thalia on 19-20 May 1899.
