The room was cold and empty and filled with cigarettes and dust. I went to sit on the chair before pulling out the worn out box of cigarettes from my back pocket. I lit it with an abandoned lighter and inhaled the toxins into my lungs. I sighed in relief and watched he smoke dance its way from lips and into the rays of sunlight streaming in through the open window.
