matar dal. a yellw curry made with split peas. I used red lentils instead, and simplified the recipe a bit by only using curry powder and salt to season. a great food to keep in the refrigerator as it's so versatile! roll it up with some chickpea flour, fry it, and you've got some tasty dal pekora!
