This sauce is amazing on fried rice... or even for dipping Teriyaki chicken and steak. I call it Yum Yum Sauce (Japanese White Steak Sauce)... 1 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons sugar, 3 tablespoons vinegar, 1 teaspoon tomato paste, 2 tablespoons melted butter, ¾ teaspoon paprika, ⅜ teaspoon cayenne pepper, ⅜ teaspoon garlic powder.
I actually got this by asking one of the chefs at a local Hibachi grill. He said he would give it to me only if I could correctly guess the main ingredient. I tasted it and then told him mayo, and he laughed loudly and gave me the recipe. I use this sauce whenever I make homemade Hibachi style dinner for my fiance and I. :)
Hibachi Rice with Yum Yum Sauce. Made this as a meal for my daughter to take for night shift, with some left over for other meals. It was gone in no time! Delicious and really simple to make. Made with brown rice for extra nutrition.
