On Thursday, November 12, members of Shippensburg University and the greater community were invited to attend a free public lecture titled "Quilts in Context: Women's History, Craft, and Material Culture in America," given by costume and textile specialist A. Newbold "Newbie" Richardson. The Fashion Archives & Museum (FA&M) and the History and Philosophy department jointly sponsored the lecture as part of the continuing "Diggin' History" series.
