I have always eaten somewhat healthy until last September I had a very bad case of Pneumonia then had walking pneumonia for 4 months. I have done LOADS of research on foods and have changed my health around 100%. I have yet to get a fever, cold, anything that would cause you to feel ill. look back 50 years ago, no one heard of cancers, autism, things like that. What changed since then??? THE FOODS WERE EATING!

We call these "lima beans" in Bama, though here in NC they're "butterbeans". One of my FAVORITE veggies, I was horrified to learn they are considered a "starch", so like white potatoes, one serving is all you can have. And, they really shouldn't be paired with white potatoes or corn in a meal. :( So much for my southern upbringing.

The weekend before I did the Avocado facial but I added and extra ingredient. The recipe was Avocado, Honey and Olive oil but I decided last minute to add Oat meal to it. I loved how my face felt after I did it. Honey and Cinnamon facial the combination of the two are extremely great... it help to "Plumps Skin" Both honey and cinnamon are wonderful antiseptics. Cinnamon in both grated and essential oil forms--is beneficial to the skin because it brings blood and nutrients to the skin surface while also helping to dry skin. Cinnamon is a spice that brings blood to the surface of the skin, causing minor swelling and plumping. A preparation of three drops of cinnamon essential oil mixed with a couple tablespoons of petroleum jelly or olive oil can be applied to fine lines to plump out the skin, making the lines less visible. It's best to avoid the eye area as cinnamon can cause burning if it gets in your eyes. You may carefully apply it to the outside of crow's feet, away from the eye. This mixture is also helpful in plumping lips and can be used in place of lip gloss. Acne Treatment Cinnamon can help rid your face or back of acne by both drying out the skin and, again, bringing blood and oxygen to the skin surface. Honey is not only an antiseptic but also a great anti-inflammatory agent that prevents and heals the infections. Honey's natural antioxidant and anti-microbial properties help to protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays, supports the skin's ability to rejuvenate and refresh depleted skin, leaving it feeling silky soft and supple. Honey absorbs impurities from the pores on the skin, making it an ideal cleansing agent. Before applying any facial mask clean your face and neck with fresh water. Take off all cosmetics, creams, lotions, in short: everything. Use a non abrasive, non aggressive soap if necessary. When finished, pat your skin dry. Face Mask Cinnamon Honey Mix 3 tbsp. of honey with 1 tbsp. of cinnamon and apply the paste to pimples or all over your face (I used a makeup brush) and leave on for about 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Cinnamon masks can irritate the skin, so they should not be applied more than once a week.
