Shared from Penny Ward. "In August of 2011, my Mom was having some issues with pain and thought it might be her gallbladder. She went to the doctors and they ran some test. The test results were devastating to us. [The Dr.] told all of us kids to get checked because she was already in stage four colon cancer. She had almost made it a year to the day that she found out. On her birthday I got this tattoo in honor of her."
Shared from survivor Liz Anderson. "I was diagnosed with Stage 2a colon cancer in May, 2015 (at 32!). A week later I had a partial colectomy and resection. I'm doing well, and recently had the scans to prove I'm now cancer free. I have Lynch Syndrome, so have a high chance of recurrence, but I've beat it once, and I can beat it again if I have to! Got this two days ago :)"
