Call us old-fashioned, but July’s color inspiration is Americana. Subtly modernized hues or straight-forward USA red, white & blue, it all screams July. Family. BBQs. Lighting off (mostly) legal fireworks in the streets (mostly not legal) with neighbors…makes us all warm and fuzzy inside. And man we’re a sucker for red, white and blue bunting around the 4th – a total holdover from a childhood obsession with Pollyanna. *sigh*
Pantone 584 has been sprouting up all over the place recently. It screams spring - bright and fresh and vibrant and hopeful. It's one of our favorite colors in the art department - a great punch color on it's own and plays well with a wide variety of palettes. It can add a little edge to conservative corporate materials or add a grounding element to wilder color environments.
