Headdress Date: 1950–65 Culture: Hungarian Medium: synthetic, metal, silk, cotton. This headdress is an excellent example of folk traditions which were carried on through centuries. The use of celluloid in the flowers rather than traditional paper or textiles marks this as a later object; however it is otherwise traditional in form and decoration.
