How to Freeze Corn: There are a lot of recipes for freezing corn (most, in fact) that will have you boil the cobs first and THEN cut the corn off. That method is perfectly fine but for me I like to do it this way because: 1) I think it's easier to handle the cobs when they are not piping HOT from just being boiled 2.) I like to add a little salt and sugar to my corn when cooking.
