Life is in ourselves and not in the external. To be a human being among human beings, and remain one forever, no matter what misfortunes befall, not to become depressed, and not to falter—this is what life is, herein lies its task. - Fyodor Dostoevsky

Arthur Rimbaud, enfant terrible of France! (20 Oct 1854–10 Nov 1891), French poet. Born in Charleville, Ardennes, he produced his works while still in his late teens, giving up creative writing altogether before the age of 20. As part of the decadent movement, he influenced modern literature, music, and arts, and prefigured surrealism. Rimbaud was known to have been a libertine and restless soul, travelling extensively on 3 continents before his death from cancer just after his 37th birthday.
