The week of Valentine’s Day, February 10-16, thousands of people coast-to coast are swarmming Home Depot and Lowe’s, delivering more than half a million petition signatures and Valentine’s asking these stores to “show bees some love” and stop selling bee-killing pesticides and garden plants pre-poisoned with these pesticides.

Jorge Arauz led a class discussion at Madison Friends Friends (Quakers) Meeting in Wisconsin. As a result of the discussion, one of the children colored this sign to encourage the end of bee-killing pesticides.

Four year old Julian wants a future filled with a just agricultural system. He urged Lowe's to "show bees some love" and stop selling bee-killing pesticides by delivering this valentine.

Julian (4), Joseph (2), and their mom Rose Welch, delivered this valentine at the Lowe's in West Sacramento, California. In addition to the valentine, Julian delivered this message to the store manager, "don't kill the bees!"
