Back when lunch was less than a buck! A burger, fries, and a Coke resting on the car window of a 55 Chevy. My mom use to be a "car hop" at one of these drive in burger joints.

DYMO Label Makers who was the KING of DIY. I have such fond memories whenever I see a vintage DYMO label.

I used to wear the candy apple red ones...they were my favs!

Buster Brown Easter Shoes- we loved our Buster Brown shoes! Haha, I had the brown and white saddle shoes.

Price tags... no scanners at the check out!

Kmart had price tags like this, no scanners and bar codes.

High School Home Ec class

Home Ec Class! - Home Economics class was taught to all the girls in school to teach them how to be a housewife, more or less. Guys didn't participate because while we were in the "kitchen" they had shop class.

back in the day

The old phone booth. I always checked the coin return slots! I think the earliest charge I remember is 10 cents. It was 10 cents for a real long time! The next charge that stuck for a long time was 25 cents. It was 25 cents for forever!

McDonald's Play Place - I had my birthday there. Back when it was still considered cool. I remember the round hamburger that we would always spin around and every time I get off that thing I feel like I was gonna throw up bc I was soooo dizzy.

8 Track Tape Player in the car, I remember all of us pilling into the old chevy and listening to the Eagles on 8 track. No seatbelts, and no car seats. It's amazing we survived.
