So cool!

Quiet Critters - when you have a moment when it's important for students to be quiet, pass out the quiet critters. Take them away from students who talk. At the end of the activity anyone who still has a quiet critter gets a prize, point, whatever you use. (Another idea is to "give" the quiet critters when you see children working quietly... that way, they're earning it instead of having it taken away. Or give them to teams instead. This way, it's more of a group-effort.)

Partner creation wheel. Put the names of students you don't want together on one wheel. Could also modify this with craft sticks. Use two colors and put kids you don't want to be partnered together on one stick color and everyone else on a different color. When you set up partners, choose one stick of each color.
