Place vanilla scented tea lights in a bowl of coffee beans. The warmth of the candles will heat up the coffee beans and make your house smell like french vanilla coffee.

1 part dawn dishwashing liquid mixed with two parts HYDROGEN PEROXIDE + PLUS added some baking soda (of course!) for the extra scrubbing element...and I used a small laundry brush to work the whole concoction into the stain for a few minutes. After that I walked away and let the whole thing sit there for an hour or so and then laundered as usual.

Lamp Redo! Spray-paint the base (the new color is "acorn"). Use a hot glue gun to glue fabric around the old shade. I found this colorful blue/green fabric on clearance at Jo Anns.

New Years Eve Arrangement. I literally took twigs from the yard and spray painted them gold, put them in a vase I already owned, and hung mini gold Christmas ornaments on the branches. (Our theme was black and gold).

DIY: Belt Organizer from a Wire Rack. All you need is a wire rack, clothespins, spray paint, a fabric scrap and monkey hooks (or another type of picture hanger). I had everything but the clothespins in my house, and I found those at the dollar store. My total cost came to one dollar! #DIY #belt #beltorganizer
