The roots

Bahamadia (born Antonia Reed), hip hop artist. As a member of the Gang Starr Foundation collective, she released her critically acclaimed debut album Kollage, which was produced by Guru (R.I.P.) & DJ Premier of Gang Starr. She is a respected lyricist in hip hop and is known for her silky, subdued monotone delivery. Her hits include Uknowhowwedu, I Confess and Three the Hardway. She has made guest appearances on tracks by artists including Talib Kweli, The Roots, Jedi Mind Tricks and Planet Asia.
