BAKED AVOCADO FRIES You’ll need: •1/4 cup flour •1 tsp kosher salt •2 large eggs, beaten •1 1/4 cups panko (Japanese bread crumbs) •2 firm-ripe medium avocados, pitted, peeled, and sliced into 1/2-in. wedges •Grated parmesan for serving (optional) Mary Note: Not optional in my opinion. Simply: Preheat oven to 450. Coat avocado slices in the four, then egg, then panko. Spread on a cooling rack that has been sprayed with non-stick spray, then place on a cookie sheet. Spray the top of the wedges with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, then bake for about 20 minutes at 450, or until they are golden brown (I turned my oven up to 500 for the last 5 minutes).

Adjust the amount of food coloring, depending on the intensity of the color you desire. Place the egg halves in the water, making sure that the entire surface of each egg is covered. Let the eggs sit at least one hour until you achieve the desired effect. Remove the eggs from ...

"I'm amazed how many people dont know this. Cook bacon in the oven. Cover cookie sheet with tinfoil first. We do 375 for about 20 min instead of 400 for ten because the lower and slower the more fat renders out. Then all the bacon is done at the same time, meanwhile you were free to make the rest of breakfast." -Martha Stewart

Let me introduce you to the easiest salsa you've ever met. It literally comes together in under 5 minutes. Not only is it easy peasy to prepare but it's down right delicious. Unlike pico de gallo, it's more like a salsa you'd get in a Mexican restaurant served with chips before you get dinner. This is perfect for the winter months when tomatoes aren't in season but you're craving a fresh simple appetizer. It's a go to recipe of mine when we have a houseful of guests. I can throw it togeth
