I put 1 cup of Bi-Carb ( or baking soda as it is known to some of my readers ) into a glass bowl and added 20 drops of essential oil ( I did 10 drops sweet orange, 6 drops ylang ylang, 4 drops patchouli it’s my signature scent for the house ) and mixed well followed by 3 or 4 rounds through my sifter. Once the essential oils were well combined with no clumps I transferred the mix into an old talc bottle. I then proceeded to shake it all over my carpet concentrating on the smelly area.

If you get yellow nails after wearing dark polish, try scrubbing your toenails with a nail brush and whitening toothpaste. It gets rid of the yellow color...weird but interesting.

Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster. Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. Seriously? Awesome! Simply rub onto greasy stains and the chalk powder will absorb the grease, making the stain easily removable by the laundry soap in the wash.

Add orange peels (or any citrus peel) to a quart of white vinegar in a closed container and let it set for two weeks. Combine citrus/vinegar solution half/half with water and use for cleaning.
