The Janapar Grant provides equipment and mentorship for one young person to set forth into the world on a rite-of-passage journey by bicycle. The grant is available to UK residents between the ages of 18-25 who intend to spend a minimum of 6 months travelling abroad.

Earth and Space Exploration Awards - The Foundation funds expeditions that use either the Earth's resources and environments to help us understand other worlds and assist in the exploration of space. Most expeditions are eligible. They include university expeditions and other expeditions from private or non-profit organizations and government expeditions. Awards are currently the equivalent of $250 or $500 each. The deadline for applications is 30 April each year.

IDEA WILD distributes over $300,000 worth of equipment – including digital cameras, spotting scopes, mist nets, tents, binoculars, and GPS units – to over 400 conservation projects worldwide. Priority is given to projects in areas identified as critical biodiversity hotspots, and focuses its support on professionals working in developing countries.

We have long been supporters of IDEA WILD. They have over 2500 projects in 82 countries making an impact.

Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP) - provides Conservation Awards on an annual basis to support the work of early career conservationists.

Two-year Fellowships are offered to future conservation leaders (“EDGE Fellows”) working on poorly-known EDGE mammal, amphibian or coral species.
