Caramel Pretzel Popcorn- mmmm, soooo good! I added toasted pecans.
Made these for dinner with homemade salsa & guacamole. They are good but need a little somethin'. I'd add some taco seasoning to the filling next time. Also, I just mixed all the ingredients together in the rice pot (including the sour cream). I'm too lazy to layer & dollop!
Another yummy bread but this one felt like it took a long time to make but that could be because the instructions are unnecessarily complicated! We all really liked the crust on this one (especially since I sprinkled it with course garlic salt before baking). Made it in 6 mini loaves.
Greek Pita Bread - simple, soft & yummy. The instructions are overly complicated so I've simplified: 2.25tsp yeast 1tbsp sugar 1.5c warm water 2tsp salt 4c flour 1tbsp olive oil. Mix first 3 ingred & proof for 10min. Add rest of ingred & knead 10min, I use my kitchen aid. Cover & rise 1-2 hrs until 2x size. Divide into 6-8 balls & roll flat, about 1/4 inch thick. Bake @350 on lightly oiled pan 4min/side, they'll be white. Cool & cover. Panfry in a bit of oil to brown & warm before use
Buffalo chicken crescent ring - don't use a pizza stone, it doesn't get hot fast enough to crisp the bottom.
Raspberry Swirl Sweet Rolls... Second rise only needs an hour if you do it in a warmed (to 200 then turned off) oven. Definitely cover with sprayed foil for last half of baking. 375 for 25-30 min. Add some cream cheese to the glaze. Try with blueberries. Note: to make ahead, do the second rise at room temp over night. The frozen berries make it too cold to allow it to rise in the fridge over night!!
No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls But don't ever put water in melted chocolate! Use cream instead!
