The interior of a beaufet in the 1719 St. George Tucker House in Colonial Williamsburg is painted shocking citrus—Pratt & Lambert’s Tucker Cupboard Orange CW105—all the better to show off antique plates displayed on curvaceous black shelves. A beau´fet is a niche or cupboard specifically to hold dinnerware, silver and other vessels.
