Junipers Juniperus horizontalis- Horizontal Varieties The horizontal varieties of Junipers vary in size and colour. They come in blue, green, and even gold depending on the cultivar that you choose. Most will reach between 6" to 24"' tall and they can spread to fill the location you desire. They are perfect for ground covers or in mass plantings. They are ideal for borders, rock gardens, slopes or cascading over walls. This is a great evergreen choice that will look good year round.

Stop Mowing that Slope! Save yourself hours of effort every week by planting a collection of evergreens (such as this mass of 'Blue Rug' juniper). They'll keep your slope looking good all year long, stop erosion, and smother most weeds so you can just sit back and enjoy the view.

Use a mass of creeping evergreens to cover a hard to mow slope. Suppresses weeds, and stops erosion while looking fantastic. Pictured here: blue rug juniper (Juniperus horizontalis)
