Dark and surreal art of Glenn Fagertveit.
Wanted to play with pure gesture on this one, letting the anatomy take the back seat, so basic form and such is way off, it's all about the flow of the figure and shapes that builds it.
Decided to put my figure drawing to the test with a longer sitting in charcoal, wasn't as happy with the result as I expected to be, so I had to do two (see next piece).
Watched Alien the other day and got really inspired to do a xenomorph drawing, this is what came out after some sketching, first really rendered piece I've done in a long while!

This is the first finished piece that I've painted on my latest art tool, the wacom companion 2. And I'm absolutely in love with it! It will be a valuable addition to my toolset for sure.
