Sometimes I totally wish I could have been born in the early 1800s so I could enjoy the victorian era and been surrounded by things that look like this.

Fairy Bridge, Isle of Man. Manx people are very superstitious and greet the fairies, or "little people" as they call them, each time they cross the bridge. They also tie notes and little messages for the fairies to the trees.

Laxey Village and the Lady Isabella Water Wheel, Isle of Man, England (1854) is the largest working waterwheel in the world. It was built in to pump water from the Glen Mooar part of the ‘Great Laxey Mines’ industrial complex.
