A two-headed albino Honduran milk snake is shown in Ridge Manor, Florida. Snake of this species are normally orange and black. Daniel Parker, a University of Central Florida biologist, says two-headed snakes have been documented to live as long as 20 years in captivity. But with two brains giving commands to a single body, Parker says the snake would have a difficult time surviving in the wild.

This picture was taken in the and shows a group of loggers hauling a heavy load. It is hard to even picture how they got the logs stacked that high. It is also hard to imagine how they keep it from tipping over. Not to mention the poor horses!

1880s    Josephene Myrtle Corbin, the Four-Legged Woman, was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee in 1868. Rather than having a parasitic twin, Myrtle’s extra legs resulted from an even rarer form of conjoined twinning known as dipygus, which gave her two complete bodies from the waist down. She had two small pelves side-by-side, and each of her smaller inner legs was paired with one of her outer legs. She could move the smaller legs but was unable to use them for walking. At the age of 19...

Myrtle Corbin, the Four-Legged Woman Myrtle's extra legs belonged to her dipygus twin sister. Myrtle worked for P. Barnum and Ringling Bros and often dressed her extra feet in shoes and stockings. Myrtle later married a doctor and had five children.
