Another illustration that uses the negative space very well turning it into an object. This one has more detail in the face which really shows characteristics of the woman. The pop of color in the lips balanced the picture out making that very central.

Another, Rene Gruau. I love this type of illustration. You see the shapes but the lines only suggest them. There is detail only in specific parts where there needs to be. It creates an emotion with few lines and shapes. It utilizes the negative space.
