In Silverstone released The Kind Diet, a guide to vegan nutrition, and launched its associated website The Kind Life. She lives in an eco-friendly Los Angeles house, complete with solar panels and an organic vegetable garden.
Pierce Brosnan Pierce Brosnan hasn’t just played an agent of good in the movies (as James Bond) he’s fighting the bad guys off screen as well. Brosnan has made many donations and appearances to support various causes but he also has worked with the environmental advocacy group the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) where he has tried to stop the Navy from using sonar systems that have a record of killing sea life.
Natalie Portman Natalie Portman has always had a eye for fashion, and so much so that she decided to marry a passion for the environment and a love of shoes and created a line of vegan footwear. Kevin Costner Kevin Costner spent a whole lot of time in the water (with his epic Waterworld ) and it’s a subject that he is passionate about. He co-founded Ocean Therapy Solutions and has spent the “last 15 years supporting research on centrifuge systems to more safely and effectively remove oil from water.” And it’s a device that apparently works. Oil giant BP has ordered 32 of them.
