The Vedas describe Krishna in this way- He appears as a handsome youth with a glowing complexion the color of rain clouds. He plays a flute, attracting the hearts of all. His smile is enchanting, and He wears a peacock feather in His curly black hair and a flower garland around His neck. His eternal kingdom is known as Goloka, where it is said that every word is a song, every step a dance, and every moment new, fresh, and filled with spiritual bliss.
KRSNA - The Supreme Personality of Godhead, by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. This is the life story of Krishna from the Srimad-Bhagavatam, a portion of the ancient Vedas from India. Written for the West by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of the Hare Krishna movement, it's full of beautiful stories and moral philosophy. The artwork is beautiful, too.
