I don't know what I did because everyone else seems to love them, but when I tried they were gross

After I tore them and DRIED them with paper towels really well, I placed in a bowl and started with 1 tablespoon of EVVO and cracked salt, I added a little more EVVO and spread out in numerous batches so they were a single layer on the tray. It cooked longer than it said, when you try to pick one up it will be crunchy. Some get done sooner than other so take out what is done and put the soft kale chips back in the oven until done!

Ah, well, neither work- but it is a group that helps winter farmers markets stay afloat throughout the winter in the greater Chicagoland area. Thought it might be useful. the first link will take you to the right page and you can navigate to it sorta through 'sustainable food' and then 'winter farmers markets'. Its a great idea for all greater metropolitan areas to try, and doesn't have to be faith based, though, that's a nice thing as well.
