Congratulations To Our 15th Weekly Winner Lois C., from Prospect, KY! "This is my 4th yr using GrowBoxes and every year my garden gets bigger! I love my peppers - I grow everything from jalapeno, habaneros and the hottest pepper in the world - the Carolina Reaper. Everything I grow is HOT!! This year I have 70 pepper plants! I started using GrowBoxes when I moved from Cincinnati to Louisville - I didn't want to miss a growing season - and I have never gone back. My peppers LOVE GrowBoxes"
Congratulations To Our 14th Weekly Winner Dick G., from Portland, OR! "I have been buying two Ketchup 'n Fries starters each year since the hybrid was introduced about a half dozen years ago. The fun part is that they start producing very sweet cherry tomatoes when they hit about four feet high and continue to produce at higher levels as they reach toward the sky. They also produce potatoes under the soil (thus the name). Last year I got about five potatoes per plant."
Congratulations To Our 13th Weekly Winner, Shirley G., from Sauk Rapids, MN! "The plants were thriving and had spread across the porch 8 feet wide and 6 feet tall. Since there were far too many tomatoes for us to eat, I would ask the home care staff if they would like to pick some tomatoes to eat on the way to their next patient. I am so pleased with my GrowBox purchase two years ago. I'm hoping to add another one next year." Send in your photo's now to photos@aGardenPatch.com.
Congratulations To Our 12th Weekly Winners, Linda and Howard R., from Blue Bell, Pennsylvania! Cucuzza Squash or as it's known by its slang name "Gagootz" is an Italian Summer Squash. The vines can grow two feet a day. The fruit itself can grow 10 inches per day and usually peak at 18" to 3' long. You prepare Cucuzza as you would zucchini or any other squash. Be sure to put it on your list of veggies to grow next season! Send in your photo's now to photos@aGardenPatch.com

Congratulations Stacy! The 3rd WEEKLY WINNER of our 2017 PHOTO CONTEST! As a science teacher, I wanted to explore the idea of growing okra in "red clay" soil versus the grow box. Just by looking at the yard stick, one can observe that the okra in the grow box is at least 3 times as tall as the okra in red clay. I have three grow boxes, one with okra, one with watermelon, and one with cucumbers and tomatoes and all are doing fabulous in the Oklahoma heat.
