My note: Yummy! This is a multiple step recipe and required four bowls. I will make again. Carmel Apple Cheesecake Bars: Definitely makes more than 16 bars/servings. Could do with less cheesecake in the middle.
1 cup flour 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup of butter (usually equals 1 stick) 2-3 big apples (I'm biased towards Honeycrisp. Basically, they're the best.) ground cinnamon (I added this to the recipe because I'm a cinnamon fanatic)
Melt 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips & 1 pkg. Reese's peanut butter chips in a bowl in microwave for 2-3 minutes watching & stirring until melted. Do not burn! Add 2 to 3 cups of salted peanuts & stir. Make sure all peanuts are completely covered in chocolate. Drop by a tablespoon onto wax paper. Will take a little bit to set! Super easy & delicious!
