These are examples I or my friends find of poor irrigation installations.
High Irrigation Pressure
Can you find the rotor on a 7' riser? Irrigation design 30 years later.
Maybe a little too much water. Probably don't need 2 micro sprays. Surprised plant is alive. Drainage must be very good.
Over pressurization results in misting and 50%+ water loss before it ever hits the landscape.
Irrigation head placement meet gate design. Works fine as long as the irrigation system is off, but if the water comes on you are stuck either closed or in this case an open position.
It's even irrigated!
How much water to those rocks need anyway?
You know, they make crazy little things called 12" pop ups which look better and are less likely to be vandalized.
What a waste of water! Thanks for sharing the viddy @CoronaTools. I do like the part with the ducks coming up to check out the water and then retreating. Guess it was too much water even for them!
Maybe a little overkill for safety but the irrigation tech should be able to easily find the problem.
