Repurpose a hula hoop...the instructions are for making a rug using old t-shirts...but this could also be an art project if yarn or twine is used instead...a student did just that in a high school arts & crafts turned out really neat.

FUN...Ice Cream in a Bag This is SOOO easy… and delicious! In a small Ziplock bag, put: 1/2 C. half and half (milk works too) 1 Tbps. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Insert that bag into a larger, one gallon Ziplock filled with ice and salt. Shake the bag for five minutes. Kids love that part! Then, remove the smaller bag which should have turned into ice cream. I did this in elem school and have been looking every where for it!

PAINT WAR- Head outside with a bunch of paint, brushes, and balls. Then, have a war. The person who covers the other in the most paint wins. You can squirt the paint straight from the bottle at each other, or throw balls that have been dipped in paint. My kids also loved splattering paint at each other using brushes. This is worth it for the photos alone, and was seriously a BLAST!!! The whole family can get in on the fun, too!
