Worth Reading, Book Worth, The Vampires Chronicles, Interview, Vampires Book, Movie, Favorite Book, Anne Rice, Real Vampires
I started reading this vampire series to catch a glimpse at the origins of today's vampire obsession... Dark, passionate, and intriguing books. Worth reading more than once.
the REAL vampire book :)
Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. Never read the book, but the movie was goood
Interview With A Vampire by Anne Rice. No matter what anyone has to say about the following books, the original was a masterpiece. Unique for its time and born from true heartbreak, it's probably the forerunner of the done-to-death vampire genre. I'd go so far as to say it sparked the modern vampire rage. As the series goes on it loses momentum, as is too often the case with popular series. But this first book, is worth reading. Rice is a good author...Try Cry to heaven by AR
Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice...still my all time favorite book!!
I want this edition on my shelf.

The Women, Worth Reading, Zimmer Bradley, Mists Of Avalon, Marion Zimmer, Book Worth, Legends, King Arthur, Favorite Book
One of my All TIme Favorite Books! "There is no such thing as a true tale. Truth has many faces and the truth is like to the old road to Avalon; it depends on your own will, and your own thoughts, whither the road will take you." The Mists of Avalon, Marion Zimmer Bradley. Pinner writes: "The magical legend of King Arthur vividly retold through the eyes and lives of the women who wielded power from behind the throne - Guinevere, the Lady of the Lake, and Morgan Le Fay (Morgaine.)"
The Mists of Avalon, Marion Zimmer Bradley. My favorite fantasy novel. Fantasy isn't my favorite genre, but this is a book worth reading and re-reading. A story set during the Arthurian era, much of it told from a woman's perspective, about what life was like back in those days when Christianity was gaining steam. A wonderful story, and well written.
Alexandra Ivy has to be my favorite author right now. This is a very yummy series :)
