Sarah's Applesauce Recipe from AllRecipes: This was soooo awesome. I changed the recipe a bit. I used probably 6+ cups of chopped apples, 1/4 cup water, 1/2 cup apple juice, a little less than 1/4 cup white sugar, then a little brown sugar, 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon and a little pinch of ground nutmeg. Put it all in the crock pot for about 4 hours then mash with a potato masher and enjoy because it's awesome!
Sarah's Applesauce Recipe comment: I doubled this recipe and made it in my slow cooker. Took about 3-4 hours on high, no need to mash the apples, they mushed on their own.. yummy!
