Mystery words center: write words on an index card with glue and let dry. Place the card in an envelope. Kids rub over the top of the envelope with a crayon and a DIFFERENT PIECE OF PAPER! (This makes it reusable!). Better than a white crayon water color resist because you only prep it once!

The Message Center: an INGENIOUS way to motivate kids to write to each other! Kids must be quiet, but can pass as many notes as they like with the clothesline attached to their chairs. Too funny!

Keep a cheap camera in your room so the kids can take pics of their tasks during stations. Just hang it at the station and they have someone take a pic of them when they finish a task. This is the "proof" they finished their work.
