School Decoration

"Linked through Literacy" kids spent a week visiting the Library and writing down the names of their favorite books on prices of paper. The class with the longest "chain link" won a special prize! They LOVED it, and it created a nice decoration for the "candyland book fair"!

A creative bulletin board display featuring a timeline through high school. Could be a great way to highlight college readiness and specific actions students can take to prepare for college before (and during) senior year!

LOVE this...making it this weekend to put on my wall!

A bulletin board I created to inspire my students to research questions that they come across as they read. It's right next to the computers to reinforce and remind them that they can answer their own questions (b/c, let's face it, teachers don't know EVERYTHING!) Let the kids find out and teach you and the class! :)

I'm obsessed with this teacher's color combos and class decor! I'm considering re-doing my bulletin boards in fabric next year even though my fadeless paper held up great.

Had a huge bulletin board in my classroom so I created this "twitterture" board. The idea is to have students tweet about the stories we are reading by submitting them for extra credit!

"Bullies aren't ever fair...it's a lot more fun to share". This line was taken from a book we read to the class about getting along with everyone...thus the bulletin board!
