This is from the book The Last Battle. I saw it suggested as a wedding quote which I understand as it has such a sweet happily-ever-after message that goes along with weddings, but in its original context the quote was used to tell the reader the outcome for the characters after their death.
Just the truth, it's so in your favor. Seeing what you have overcome only tells me of your strength...no one faults that ability. It's something you can depend on and return. There is nothing worse than making a decision based on inaccurate info.
And know above anything else that you do not need to be whole to deserve devotion. I will love even the smallest pieces of you and count every one with a burning kiss. You are not some broken household item that warrants fixing. You are human, and I will love you for the pieces you have and not the pieces you feel are missing.
