How to Make a DIY Concrete Planter (

I think you would need something to form a drain hole ... maybe a piece of 1/2 inch PVC pipe under the inner bowl? Or it might be easier to use a concrete bit and drill a drain hole once the concrete is dry.

  • Marianne Canada

Monica, you can totally add a hole for drainage! I wanted these to be able to sit on a tabletop on their own, so I used pebbles and a sandy potting soil to promote drainage. Happy planting!

^ YES to popcorn. Must have a m/w

I guess I've always preferred cooking foods in the oven instead of nuking, but I lived without one for several years. You just get creative, like using the broiler to make nachos (also good for toast). After living with one for a year I still put leftovers in the fridge in the pot or pan I cooked them in, because I used to reheat on the stove.

  • Mike O'Brecht

Don't have one, don't miss it! Have a toaster oven instead.

  • Amie Mcmann

Heck, I don't even have a stove/oven!! I could do with out the microwave. Don't use it now anyways.

  • Gayle Giles

A must have in the kitchen!
