Bourke’s vision was to recreate the “sensibility of the classic Tahoe cabin.” The great room (pictured here) has the dining, kitchen, and living space “all within a form that is reminiscent of that rustic, Tahoe style," Bourke says.


Architect David Bourke designed HGTV Dream Home 2014 in a new mountain style, using materials common in mountain homes while also introducing modern and industrial elements.
