Just attended a children's birthday party with this great gift exchange. Each kid brought a gender neutral gift costing about $10. The hostess read this poem as the kids played the exchange game. Each kid went home with a gift, which the hostess said she prefered to her birthday child getting a load of toys they didn't need.

I'm making these now. I have 9! To make and they only have like 5 rolls of burlap in the store at a time. Haha frustrating!

Burlap was never in high demand, until Pinterest!

Have your kids choose ten old toys to put in their Santa bags. Leave the bags under the tree on Christmas Eve. Santa takes the old toys back to the North Pole (aka Goodwill) to fix them up and he leaves new toys in the bag. New toys are unwrapped in the bag. Great way to declutter, recycle old toys, and teach the kids about giving rather than receiving.
