Sarahs Key - Tatiana De Rosnay One of the best written books I have ever read. Wondering when the world of the French Jewish girl of the past, and the American journalist woman of today will collide kept me up all night to finish this book.
By far my favorite Jodi Picoult book and in my top five favorite books ever read. It is a gut wrenching novel about a school shooting. Picoult is an amazing author that can take a black and white situation and form an area of grey in your mind
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. A friendship between a wealthily boy and the son of his father's servant. Moving but would be even more difficult to read now than it was several years ago (when I read it), given that the book is set in Afganistan.
