Take something you really love: a letter, envelope, photograph, a ticket stub. anything - to a printing place like Kinkos and have them blow it up for you to hang as art. An old recipe from Grandma would be great for the kitchen! love this envelope idea
You print out words on basic white paper, but in mirror image form. Lay them on the wood, then with a damp paint brush wet the paper on top of the words. Use the cap of a sharpie to rub on top of the letters to help them transfer. Then remove the paper.
Separate your wall colors. This is SUCH a good idea! I dont like two colors coming together on a corner and this is the fix for that! This would also be a great fix for the beat-up corners in the house. -- corner of family room & foyer/dining room
