13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. A very moving story. The ONLY book I will say is a good book that doesn't have a happy ending. A young girl that commited suicide leaves a box of tapes to be passed along a chain of people, each person on the list is one of the "13 reasons why" she killed herself.
Gone, Michael Grant | In a fictional town named Perdido Beach, every human disappears after 15 years of age. The town is encased within an impenetrable energy barrier, and several of its inhabitants develop supernatural powers. Sounds fun, right? A mix of Lord of the Flies, The Hunger Games, and X-Men. A fantastic, finished series.
