Espalier failure for wind or a poorly planted post? NO problem with HORTOMALLAS! IN this case, termites had eaten the foot of the bamboo stake, and the whole trellis fell on its side. Unlike what would have happened with raffia, the netting stayed in its place, holding the plants together. Nothing was lost, replacion the post and pushing the trellis back in position was all it needed!

HORTOMALLAS trellis net allows the plant to "open up" and expand fully over the whole dimension of the espalier. By doing so a greater percentage of polinization can be achieved as compared to crops grown on the ground.

Trellis netting is wrapped around the post at the end of the furrow in order to secure the whole tutoring system. Ideally the posts at the ends should be larger and digged deeper into the ground as well as have some sort of anchoring tension cable
