1.put 1-2 coats on white nail polish (I used alpine snow by OPI) and let it dry completely.  2. Using a cosmetic wedge or makeup sponge, paint your colors (can use acrylic paint or nail polish) directly onto the sponge and blend them to make a gradient. Dab the sponge on your nail (about 2-3 times). Clear coat on top.

I've never thought of doing a gradient like this, I always use a bigger sponge and the apply 2nd colour to the sponge then dab over 1st....

I had a lot of questions on how I do gradients on instagram and my Sunset Forest nail design. I like to use acrylic paint and a makeup sponge for gradients. For me it blends better and the paint doesn't dry on the sponge as fast as nail polish does. If you don't have acrylic paint, you can still use nail polish. Hope this is helpful and thanks f...
