I've always loved this poem. I was happy to hear it used in Interstellar.

do not go gentle into the good night, rage rage against the dying of the light

The whole poem is powerful, but the final two lines are almost a battle cry, they give me chills every time I read them...It is better to burn out than to fade away. fight on. don't accept temporary defeat, despair, society's summation and definition of your worth, your reality and what your future holds. never give up. stand up and fight, fight for what you want from life....give it every thing you've got until the very end, the very last breath. there is always, always hope

"The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you." ~ Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Chalk on blackboard, by #dangerdust (via The Mind Unleashed)

At the Columbus College of Art and Design, two rogue college students are creating quite a stir…The anonymous duo, who go by the name Dangerdust, sneak into a classroom each week and create a masterpiece out of nothing but chalk.

We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that. Or perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers. And we've barely begun. And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us. -Cooper, Interstellar
